This is dedicated to the families of the 5 dragonboaters whom met with the freak accident, my deepest condolescence. Although i do not really know each and every of them personally, i must say tht this accident had upset many of us whenever we see the reports on the papers or on the news. Its such a pity to lose the 5 good national dragonboat rowers who stood a bright future ahead of them. I was juz reading Carie's friendster blog on this and was talking to her abt it last night, she felt affected by this news because those were the familiar faces she've seen in earlier races. It just makes me wonder how fragile our life is. To those who had lost them during this accident; be it the families, frens and db-members who were in the race with them, pls be strong alrights! to dear kc, i know its difficult for u to handle this but i hope ull feel better soon, somehow. Lots of controversies abt the wearing of life vests gg on.
i think the media shld juz dwell less on tht issue alr and investigate more on sth else. the lifevest is not compulsory for all just tht in here(sg), we try to enforce it. dont give the public the impression tht ITS the SOLE reason and fault for them not to wear it. haf some mercy on the victims too.
