'The best damn thing' concert was a fantastic one ! Fabulous crowd were present last night. Me and my sis took bus frm town. It was actually quite fast, abt 45mins. We were considered lucky coz we didnt spend much time waiting for the bus. Juz our luck! heh.One interesting point to note is tht I always wonder why some guys like avril when most of her songs are quite 'sarcastic' towards men. I shall save the ans tht my sis gave me yesterday which i think might be controversial. whatever it is, lets not bother. We had all different color lightsticks and a lanyard wif the 'Avril The Best Damn Thing' print on it, all at each of our seats.
Waited really long for her gig to start, supposed to start at 830pm. but at ard 8pm, some local band came onstage as an opening act for the gig. Good effort being put up by them but tht was not what we really were there for. The female vocal dont sound like shes singing rock at all. =.=" The gig finally started at ard 915pm. the latest i've ever been for a concert. Avril managed to cover not all, but most of her songs frm her latest album. N good thing is tht she sang her famous old songs like, Complicated, Sk8er Boi, My Happy Ending, Im With You and my all-time fav, Losing Grip. I can truly relate to tht song now. Ohwell, i shall put the bad aside tdy. She played both piano and drums last night. Great showcase anyway, Shes juz too rocking awesome btw ! =D
We had a new Fillipino(i think) Pharmacy Technician (PT) trainee and a new TP attachment student tdy. The PT trainee will only be here for awhile, whereas the TP student wld be wif us for 5mths. Both of them look rather approachable. The TP student is a chinese boy who has hair resembling some jap anime character. Haha. My superior even tot tht hes not chinese, but mixed. Ok, enough said. I hope hes nice, since hes gonna be wif us for the next 5 mths. So far tdy i see tht he has been quite polite(ke qi). We shall see. heh. Heard there will be a new PT frm JMC coming over too. She's another of my RP junior, i think. So looking forward to see how shes like.
Okay, finally able to access Leon's blog after soo long. So glad we made him happier tht day=)
